Step into the world of Vinka Design through a private consultation at our Auckland atelier, guided by Anita Turner, Creative Director and Head Designer, with more than 40 years of bridal couture expertise.
During your 90-minute appointment, you will have the opportunity to discuss your wedding, explore silhouettes, fabrics and design ideas, and try gowns from the Vinka collections. Brides considering bespoke may also see Anita bring their ideas to life through her hand-drawn sketches.
Every consultation is personal, unhurried and shaped around you, whether you have already found a gown you love or are only beginning to imagine what yours might become.

Bridal Consultation

Our signature bridal appointment, ideal for exploring Vinka’s made-to-order collections or beginning a conversation about a bespoke gown.
Your consultation fee is fully credited towards your gown if you proceed.

Diamond Bridal Consultation
$250.00 (90 Minutes)
A more indulgent version of the Vinka bridal consultation, created for brides who would like to turn the appointment into a fuller celebration.
Your consultation fee is fully credited towards your gown if you proceed.

Sample Sale Consultation
Complimentary | 60 minutes
For brides who would like to try available sample gowns from previous collections and selected atelier pieces.
Sample gowns are sold as available, so this appointment is best suited to brides who are open to the styles, sizes and condition currently held in the atelier.

Consultation FAQs
Do you have parking available?
Yes. Complimentary onsite parking is available for brides during their appointments.
Entry is via Lorne Street, between BBQ Duck Cafe and Plus Chicken. The carpark is secured and requires an access code, so please let us know if you require parking when your consultation is confirmed.
What should I bring to my consultation?
An open mind is always a beautiful place to begin.
You are welcome to bring inspiration images from Pinterest, Instagram or the Vinka website. Heels in any colour can be helpful when trying gowns, and nude or flesh-toned underwear may make fittings easier, although neither is essential.
How many guests can I bring to my consultation?
For Bridal and Diamond consultations, there is no strict guest limit, although we gently recommend bringing only a small circle of people whose opinions you trust.
Sample Sale consultations are limited to four guests.
What sample sizes are available to try on?
Most of our atelier samples are between sizes 6 and 14.
As specialists in bespoke and custom bridal design, we create gowns for brides of all shapes and sizes. Our team can also use its expertise, styling and fitting techniques to help you understand how a design may work for your individual form.
When should I order my veil?
Most Vinka veils are handcrafted in our Auckland atelier and typically require one to three weeks. If you need your veil sooner, please speak with our team and we will accommodate a shorter timeframe where possible.
Is the consultation fee credited towards my gown?
Yes. The full fee for Bridal and Diamond consultations is credited towards your gown if you proceed with an order. Sample Sale consultations are complimentary.
Should I choose a bespoke or made-to-order consultation?
The Bridal Consultation is suitable for both. You may explore gowns from the Vinka collections or discuss the possibilities of an entirely bespoke design with Anita. If you are unsure which path is right for you, the consultation is the perfect place to begin.
